Blasting
Midwest utilizes steel blasters capable of blasting all types and sizes of cylinders. Ranging from high pressure 2 ½lb to 6000 PSI cylinders, low pressure 20lb propane to 100lb propane, and acetylene cylinders as well.
Testing
Testing includes four hydrostatic testing stations and two UE testing stations with the capability of testing all sizes of medical and industrial cylinders. All testing procedures are in compliance with D.O.T. CFR-49.
Painting
Midwest offers a five-year visual test for most low-pressure cylinders along with blast and paint. Ranging from 20lb grill, 33lb forklift to 500lb “Pig” LP cylinders.
Aluminum Refurbishment
Includes plastic media blast to remove existing paint and clear coat, then a series of processes to restore the original finish. Following with the application of shoulder paint, heat-sensitive coat and clear coat which results in a like-new finish.

Cryogenic Repair
Midwest Cylinder does cryogenic repair. With our capabilities, we offer vacuum repair, top-end repair, dent removal, completed with a paint finish and or new polished finish.
